A KPA fire hydrant is a device that is connected to a fire hydrant for the purpose of opening or closing an underground hydrant, as well as connecting fire hoses for further water supply for use by fire and rescue services in extinguishing fires or filling water tanks.

Design:
Connected upper and lower housing, key, bolt, stem, valve, rubber sealing ring, valve, connecting head GMN-80 - 2 pcs., Nipple - thread 6".
Installation:
Install the column on the hydrant nipple and screw it in with rotational movements to the end. Connect the hose lines, and using the column key, open the hydrant valve, this occurs in two steps:
1. Opening the valve and filling the hydrant with water. This may take some time, which will be accompanied by the noise of the liquid.
2. As soon as the sound disappears, open the valve completely. Then, by rotating the handwheels, open the valves of the outlet pipes columns.
Features:
The fire hydrant has a lock that prevents the key from turning when the valves are open. How the lock works: the valve handwheel does not allow the key to be turned to open the hydrant valve.
Operating instructions:
After use, rinse the column with clean water, dry it, check the tightness of the threaded connections and tighten them if necessary, and also review the technical condition of the device for cracks and other defects.
During operation of the column, it is not allowed to use foreign objects to facilitate the efforts of controlling the key and valves.
Unintended use is prohibited.
If all reuirements are met, the column will perform its work without interruption for a long time.
The column is manufactured in a climatic version according to GOST 15150.
